Revenue Cycle Analyst
The Revenue Cycle Analyst supports projects and ongoing processes that monitor, evaluate, and improve any and all functional elements of revenue cycle operations. Those elements may include but are not necessarily limited to Patient Access procedures such as scheduling, financial clearance, point of service (POS) collections, registration, and other intake and discharge procedures, Health Information Management (HIM) procedures such as document and record management, clinical documentation, coding and charge capture, and Patient Financial Services (PFS) procedures such as billing, accounts receivable, remittance, and bad debt management activities. Position activities are primarily rooted in basic research oriented behaviors including sampled review and data collection, basic measurement such as aggregation and summarization of data and general statistics, and documentation practices. Chief focus will be account correction and workflow enhancement toward the goal of maintaining a minimum amount in Candidate for Billing (CFB) accounts. This role may be required to travel to other NYP sites that fall under your oversite.
This is a full time hybrid position located at our Midtown Manhattan Corporate Offices.
Required Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills
- Professional communication skills – verbal and written
Preferred Criteria
- 1-3 years related experience
- Knowledge of Revenue Cycle processes and concepts
- Basic proficiency with hospital registration and billing system

Salary Range:
