The Therapeutic Medicine Center at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens is a state-of-the-art adult infusion center. Spanning 2,200 square feet, the center provides a patient-focused, relaxed, and peaceful environment for individuals receiving intravenous treatment for cancer, anemia, and other medical conditions. At NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, nurses lead the way in a new era of compassionate care. Here, dedicated nurses administer chemotherapy, manage symptoms, support patients, and educate families, all while serving as the central hub of extensive multidisciplinary teams.
Patient Care Director – RN – Therapeutic Medicine Center | Full-Time, Days
The Patient Care Director is responsible for managing clinical nursing practices, staff recruitment and retention, performance evaluations, supply chain management, budgeting, quality improvement, and ensuring compliance with both internal and external regulatory survey requirements. This role involves collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team and various professionals to facilitate exceptional patient care.

Preferred Criteria
- Demonstrated leadership experience within a large academic medical center
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Oncology Nursing Certification
- Experience administering chemotherapy
Required Criteria
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or health-related field
- Current NYS RN licensure
- At least 2 years of management experience
- At least 3 years of clinical experience
- At least one year of acute care RN experience in oncology
- Biotherapy and Chemotherapy Certification
- OCN certification required one year after start date

Salary Range:
