The Department of Pathology and Clinical Laboratories at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic services in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology (Laboratory Medicine) for both hospitalized patients and those in the community. Our department is accredited by the American College of Pathologists, the New York State Department of Health, and The Joint Commission.

Quality & Information Specialist - Clinical Labs

This is your opportunity to provide world-class technology solutions that will directly impact the quality of patients’ lives. As a Quality & Information Specialist at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, you will have the chance to showcase your passion for quality and meticulous attention to detail, making a positive difference for countless individuals.

In this important role, you will enhance processes and optimize outcomes for patients with a strong focus on quality. You will serve as a reference source for technologists in correlating test data and implementing solutions to problems in processing and delivering highly accurate patient information.

Additionally, you will develop, implement, and maintain organized and efficient databases to meet the needs of the laboratories. Here, you will have the opportunity to work with nationally accredited colleagues and contribute to lifesaving results.

Preferred Criteria

• Masters degree
• ASCP certification 

Required Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree  
• New York State license as Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Cytotechnologist
• Expertise in the utilization of laboratory computer systems.
