Each year thousands of patients in Queens experience disorders of the bones, joints and muscles.   At NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, our Physical Therapy team uses advanced technology and best-practice techniques to restore and maximize patient mobility. We provide one-on-one therapies that are tailored to meet the individual needs of our patients. At our impressive facilities include exercise equipment, treatment space, orthotics, lower extremity technologies and specialized equipment.

Physical Medicine Attendant – Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation

Monday - Friday 11 AM - 7 PM (Training hours subject to change)

As a Physical Medicine Attendant, you will prepare patients and equipment for physical therapy treatments. You will assist rehabilitation staff in administering treatments, transporting patients, and performing various duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment within the Rehabilitation Department. Provide high-quality care in this inpatient in this full-time, day position. This position is covered by 1199 SEIU and therefore registration with the union is required.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
