Since moving to Queens in 1957, we have had the privilege to deliver nearly 100,000 babies.  We're the experienced and caring team Queens families count on for successful outcomes. Mothers and babies start their journey here with expert nurses at their side and the finest resources at their command. Our nurses specialize in a myriad of Women's Health areas including obstetrics and gynecology, labor and delivery and more.

Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care.

This is a Full Time Day shift, 36.25 scheduled weekly hours at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Queens. Every weekend required for the first 2 years of employment.

Required Criteria

• Previous Nurse’s aide experience or equivalent in a hospital setting; or certification from an approved accredited Nurse Aid training program, or currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing at the junior year level or had completed at least one clinical practicum

• BLS from AHA

• HS Diploma/GED
