Bring your passion for team-building to our one of our Medical/Surgical units, offering comprehensive care with a human touch. 6N is a 50 bedded unit comprised of Med Surg and Oncology patients along with telemetry monitoring.
Clinical Nurse Managers coordinate all aspects of clinical care to ensure the delivery of high-quality, family-centered services to our patients. Assist with unit administration, including the management of staffing needs and scheduling. Mentor staff RN's on a regular basis, providing clinical education and conducting follow-up procedures as necessary. Foster collaboration and independent thinking. Lead and round with the staff. Mentor, coach, and implement performance and quality improvement.

This is a Full Time Nights position at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens located at 56-45 Main St, Queens, NY 11355.
Depending on the needs of the unit evenings coverage required
Tentative Schedule: 10 PM - 8 AM; or 12 PM - 10 PM 4 shifts per week.
Preferred Criteria
Master's degree in Nursing or related field
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience within the Med Surg or Oncology
OCN certification (can earn within first 6 months of hire date)
Required Criteria
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Current New York State registration to practice nursing
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
Demonstrated leadership competencies
Current NYS RN license
BLS certification with American Heart Association

Salary Range:
