Neurophysiology/EEG Technician II - Full Time - Evenings 3pm-11pm

We’re seeking a highly skilled Neuroscience Technician to serve as an integral part of our program which is ranked #2 in the nation for Neurology/Neurosurgery by U.S.News & World Report.

In this role, you will work with a large group of highly trained technicians in performing a variety of state-of-the-art studies while serving as a vital resource to patients, physicians, and other technologists. Under the supervision of the Clinical Neurophysiology management team you will work in the epilepsy unit in connecting and disconnecting EEG’s for adult and pediatric patients.

This is an evening shift position working 3:00pm - 11:00pm including alternate weekends & rotating holidays. Location is our Columbia campus in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights.

Preferred Criteria 

  • 2 years of college experience

Required Criteria

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of neurodiagnostic technician experience OR graduation from an accredited electroneurodiagnostic technology training program (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) Accredited) OR graduation from an American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) approved Electroneurodiagnostic (END) training program.
  • American Board of Registered Electroneurodiagnostics Technologists (ABRET) registry eligible 
  • Knowledge of applicable computer operating systems and software

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
