Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner – Per Diem - Mobile Mother/Baby Bus - NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/ Ambulatory Care Network /Weill Cornell
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital’s Division of Community and Population Health programs work in partnership with community-based organizations and healthcare teams to advance health equity, empowering patients and community members across New York City and Westchester County.
The Maternal and Child Health Program represents a collaborative of services designed to improve health, development, and wellness outcomes for the maternal-infant dyad.
The Mother and Baby Bus is a mobile health unit, funded through the March of Dimes, aiming to be a bridge care for family planning, pregnancy, post-partum and newborn care for women and birthing persons not connected to healthcare, especially those that are undocumented and experiencing homelessness.
As a sole Nurse Practitioner on the mobile bus, you will work independently to identify patient needs, provide patient education, treatment, care & services for routine GYN care & to pregnant and postpartum women.
The Nurse Practitioner will communicate and collaborate with other providers, nurses, social workers, psychologists, community health workers, doulas, and more.

This is a per diem position that is grant funded. Hours and days will be variable depending on events scheduled in the community.
Travel is expected to the community boroughs being served.
Preferred Criteria
- Experience working in a Women’s Health or OB/GYN outpatient practice or community-based health program.
- Bilingual - English and Spanish
Required Criteria
- Master’s degree in Advanced Practice (OB/GYN)
- Current NYS RN and NP licensure
- Board Certification (OB/GYN)
- BLS through AHA
- Minimum of two years NP experience including experience in OB/GYN
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and triage skills
