Senior Director – Support Services
Responsible for directing all operations and budgets for Support Services. Ensures a 24/7 clean, safe and sanitary environment for patients, staff and visitors in order to maximize customer and staff satisfaction. Responsible for the operations, activities and financial management of these Support Services departments. The goals of the position are to obtain and maintain the highest quality clean environment, maximize employee relations and satisfaction, drive outstanding patient satisfaction results and meet and/or beat the established budget targets.
Titles Reporting to this Position
- Director of Support Services - Lower Manhattan Hospital
- EVS Managers -Weill Cornell Medical Center and David H. Koch Center
- Manager Linen Services -Weill Cornell Medical Center
- Manager Transport - Weill Cornell Medical Center
Preferred Criteria
- 5 plus years of leadership experience in a union environment
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum of 10 years managerial experience as a Director or a Master’s Degree plus at least 7 years’ experience in leadership position
- Experience in the healthcare or hospitality industry
- Strong demonstrated environmental services or housekeeping knowledge
- Experience with patient, customer, and staff satisfaction strategies is a critical success factor

Salary Range:
