Project Manager – Service Line Division
We are seeking a Project Manager to support the Women’s Service Line across the enterprise. In this role, the Project Manager will help lead large-scale initiatives to drive the strategic direction for Women’s health at NYP. This role will oversee all aspects of project activities from start to finish. This role will manage the entire project lifecycle, including scope definition, planning, analysis, measurement, and communication. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving project success and ensuring effective execution while managing timelines and team coordination.
Essential Job Duties:
Lead multidisciplinary enterprise-wide Perinatal Practice Council (PPC) and Gynecology Practice Council (GPC), which are dedicated to the improvement of patient outcomes through the standardization of evidence-based clinical practices. This role will lead council meetings, facilitate discussions on project progress, deliverables and action items. In addition, this role will oversee management of the clinical practice guidelines created and reviewed by these councils.
Partner with colleagues within the department of OB Quality and Analytics in the submission of the US News Maternity Survey. The project manager will collaborate with other stakeholders to collate necessary data and ensure timely submission of the survey.
Data collection and analysis to inform strategy and financial planning for the Service Line.
In partnership with other key stakeholders, help lead large-scale initiatives across the enterprise including Birth Equity efforts and optimization of digital tools to improve outcomes and optimize patient experience.
Develop comprehensive project charters to define the problem, business objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, success metrics, and team roles.
Utilize monitoring tools to track project success, identify root causes of challenges, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
Coordinate the creation of impactful presentations and reports, including visuals and written narratives for project updates.
This is a full-time position based out of our NYP/Weill Cornell site.
Preferred Criteria:
Master’s Degree
1-2 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in a clinical setting
PMP Certification
Six Sigma / Lean Certification
Required Criteria:
Bachelor’s Degree
7-10 years of project management or related experience

Salary Range:
