The Sepsis Coordinator will report to the Infection Prevention & Control (IP&C) Manager and provides overall management of the Sepsis Program. Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and to ensure optimal care for the sepsis population. Interfaces with internal hospital departments and staff in coordinating the care of sepsis patients. Works in close collaboration with Medical Director(s) in management of the Sepsis Program and provision of quality services for the sepsis population from a multi-disciplinary approach throughout the continuum of care. In addition, assists and supports the IP&C Manager with planning, implementation, evaluation, standardization, and continuous improvement of the infection prevention and control program in the hospital. Identifies and implements infection control goals and objectives related to surveillance, data analysis and reporting infection prevention and control practices.

This is a full time day (8:00AM-4:00PM) position at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester County, NY.
Preferred Criteria
Masters in Nursing or related field if already holds a BSN degree. Either bachelors or graduate degree must be in nursing.
Required Criteria
Minimum of 5 year’s clinical experience in the hospital setting with knowledge of new trends and techniques in healthcare.
BSN and/or certification in specialty preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills required
Current NYS RN Licensure

Salary Range:
