Full-Time Patient Registrar - Center for Rehabilitation, Physical Therapy – Hudson Valley- Evening

Register patients for a variety of procedures and appointments and feel the pride of going above and beyond to help others. In this role, you'll obtain demographic details and insurance information, and ensure proper scheduling. You'll record patient history while obtaining pre-certification and authorization for patients. Most importantly, you will be the calm and reassuring presence patients need as they navigate their hospital experience. This is a full-time Evening position with a schedule of Monday through Friday 12pm to 8pm and 12:30pm -8:30pm NYP Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1756 Route 9D, Cold Spring, NY upper Westchester County, NY *Travel may be required to another offsite locations (Croton-on-Hudson, Cortlandt Manor)

Preferred Criteria

  • Energetic, approachable individual with a desire to put patients first.
  • EMR (EPIC) experience preferred
  • Must be detailed oriented, able to problem solve and work independently.
  • Medical Registration experience preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform various registration duties on demand. Includes willingness to cover all areas as needed.

Required Criteria

  • High School or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of hospital procedures, routines, regulations, and medical terminology preferred.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:

$25.60-$33.00/Hourly
