Opening in September 2025, a new, multi-disciplinary, state-of-the-art ambulatory care facility, will offer a wide range of adult and pediatric specialty care services, all under one roof. Located at 1111 Westchester Avenue in White Plains, the center will be led by trusted Columbia doctors and will set a new standard for superior patient experience, convenience, and quality care.
Occupational Therapists use advanced technology and best-practice techniques to restore and maximize patient mobility. The mission of the Rehabilitation Medicine Department is to provide patient-centered, evidence-based clinical care through interdisciplinary teamwork to impact our patients and the community through highly engaged, skilled and empathetic team. We provide one-on-one therapies that are tailored to meet the individual needs of our patients. The Certified Hand Therapist will provide high quality treatment programs to assist patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within their capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treating a wide range of upper extremity diagnosis, including post-surgical trauma, orthopedic, and rheumatologic disorders. Strong splinting skills required.
This is a full-time out-patient position at our 1111 Westchester Avenue Location covering Monday – Friday.
Preferred Criteria
· Master’s Degree from an accredited program in occupational therapy.
· At least 3 years Hand Therapy experience.
Required Criteria
· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program in occupational therapy.
· NYS License or eligible.
· Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification required.
· Hand Therapy certification.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Salary Range:
