The Mammography Technologist will work in a collaborative environment to provide superior patient care. This role will perform all duties associated with acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation, and archiving of mammography and bone density studies as requested by referring physician and consistent with the facility’s guidelines and will be responsible for the care of the patient while in the imaging area.
This position works a 4-day flexible schedule Monday-Friday w/ 10-hr shifts 8am-6pm. The position is located at our White Plains outpatient facility, The One.
Minimum Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalency
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
NYS License, ARRT and mammography certified
New York BLS certified
The ideal candidate will:

be an engaged team member, demonstrating collaboration, inclusion, reliability, adaptability to new and changing situations, and ability to lead others through change.
be proficient in computer skills including, but not limited to, Electronic Health Systems, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, email systems, etc.
display motivation with a positive mindset and exceptional work ethic.
provide coverage as requested throughout practices as needed (multiple sites and flexible schedule including weekends)

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
