Our Surgical Residency Program is fully approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), offering five categorical positions annually and six preliminary PGY-1 positions.

Surgical House Staff Program Supervisor | Full-Time, Days

Bring your talents to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens and take on a pivotal role in supporting our Surgical House Staff Program. In this position, you’ll contribute to a collaborative and high-performing culture, helping to foster an educational environment that promotes the ethical, professional, and personal development of our surgical residents. This position reports directly to the Department of Surgery and maintains a dotted-line reporting relationship with Graduate Medical Education (GME) to support cross-functional initiatives and compliance with educational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision and administrative support for the Surgical House Staff Program
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations through clerical and organizational excellence
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to maintain program standards and compliance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience in medical/surgical practice management.
  • Experience in medical/surgical practice management
  • Experience in graduate medical education program (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Medhub Medical Education Software (preferred)
  • C-TAME Certification (Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education) (preferred)

This position is primarily on-site and requires regular in-person attendance.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
