Join a patient-focused, tight-knit team of premier nurse educators led by a dynamic leader, responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs for nursing and nursing support staff at New York-Presbyterian / Queens Campus . Work with our nursing staff , and new hires in gearing learning needs to meet the needs of our institution as we move towards Magnet status. Use your nursing experience and education in a meaningful way by guiding the next generation of top-talent nurses! Conduct clinical rounds. Identify the individual and collective learning needs of staff. Use cutting-edge technology (e.g., online learning modules). Promote best clinical practices. Inspire award-winning nurses. Regularly evaluate staff competencies, and provide clinical mentorship and career guidance as needed. Participate in supporting new grads and our new hires on the off shift.

This is a Full time Day shift position, 5 days a week , varied start and end times with some off shift and weekend coverage .

Preferred Criteria

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing Education
  • Experience in Teaching
  • Expereince in Oncology
  • Basic Life Support Instructor Certification and PALS certification
  • Certification in Medical/Surgical

Required Criteria

  • At least four years of acute adult care RN experience and (Pediatric Acute care)
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)

Salary Range:

$123,500-$166,000/Annual
