Senior Patient Registrar - Pediatric Cardiology - Queens Medical Group

As a Senior Patient Registrar, you’ll play a vital role in creating a seamless and supportive experience for our patients.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Registering patients and scheduling appointments and procedures

  • Answers and directs incoming calls

  • Gathering demographic and insurance information

  • Obtaining pre-certifications and authorizations

  • Ensuring complete patient checkout, and follow up on physician's orders

  • Providing guidance and support to fellow administrative staff

  • Serving as a calm, reassuring presence for patients navigating their care journey

This is a full-time day shift position (9am - 5pm) based at the Flushing location, with the ability to travel to other sites as needed.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Proficiency with Epic systems

Required Criteria:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum of 3 years of clerical experience

  • Proficient in computer skills

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:

$34.65-$42.65/Hourly
