Senior Patient Registrar - Pediatric Cardiology - Queens Medical Group
As a Senior Patient Registrar, you’ll play a vital role in creating a seamless and supportive experience for our patients.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Registering patients and scheduling appointments and procedures
Answers and directs incoming calls
Gathering demographic and insurance information
Obtaining pre-certifications and authorizations
Ensuring complete patient checkout, and follow up on physician's orders
Providing guidance and support to fellow administrative staff
Serving as a calm, reassuring presence for patients navigating their care journey
This is a full-time day shift position (9am - 5pm) based at the Flushing location, with the ability to travel to other sites as needed.
Preferred Criteria:
Proficiency with Epic systems
Required Criteria:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 3 years of clerical experience
Proficient in computer skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
