Join NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens and take on a vital role in our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and postpartum well-baby unit. As part of one of the nation’s most comprehensive academic health care delivery systems, you’ll collaborate with ColumbiaDoctors and Weill Cornell Physicians to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to families across the New York metropolitan area.
In this role, you’ll assess, plan, and provide care to newborns requiring both intensive and routine monitoring. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team performing rare procedures and contributing to life-changing outcomes for our smallest patients.
What You’ll Do
Provide direct care to newborns in the Level III NICU and postpartum well-baby unit(Nursery)
Monitor and manage neonatal patients with varying acuity levels
Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, and other specialists to develop and implement care plans
Educate and support families throughout their NICU and postpartum experience
Participate in a rotating schedule that includes 12-hour and 24-hour shifts
Attend High Risk Deliveries
Preferred Qualifications
One year of experience as a NICU Physician Assistant
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Minimum of one year of PA experience inCritical Care
Current New York State PA Licensure
NCCPA Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification

Salary Range:
