What You’ll Do

• Perform routine and complex testing on clinical specimens in the microbiology laboratory, including mycology, bacteriology, and parasitology.
• Troubleshoot instruments and methodologies to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Execute all quality control procedures and assist in evaluating new equipment, reagents, and methodologies.
• Work in a state-of-the-art, 24-hour facility designed to maximize your skills and training.

Shift Details

• Per Diem position at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microbiology experience as a Laboratory Technologist.
• ASCP certification.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related health science field.
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York State Education Department.
