Office Manager – Infection Control and Prevention | Full Time, Days
NewYork-Presbyterian Queens is seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Office Manager to lead secretarial and clerical operations within the Infection Control department. This role is essential to ensuring smooth administrative workflows and supporting patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily office operations and clerical staff
- Manage departmental communications, records, and reporting
- Oversee Infection Control data entry, chart formatting, and precaution updates
- Maintain filing systems, calendars, and scheduling for departmental activities
- Provide high-level administrative support including correspondence, purchasing, and payroll
- Ensure excellent customer service and confidentiality in all interactions
- Train, evaluate, and manage clerical staff performance

Preferred Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree
Required Criteria
- Outstanding organizational, problem solving and communication skills necessary to ensure efficiency in attaining the goals of the department.
- At least 5 years senior or administrative secretarial experience including at least 1 year supervising other clerical and/or secretarial staff.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments with deadlines.
- High proficiency level of Microsoft office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
- High School Diploma or GED.

Salary Range:
