As an Administrative Coordinator in the Department of Surgery, you’ll be at the heart of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering world-class care. You’ll work closely with the Chairman and Administrative Director to support departmental operations, coordinate activities with the Medical Staff Office, and ensure seamless communication across stakeholders. Your contributions will help uphold our commitment to quality, efficiency, and outstanding service for our diverse Queens community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Department of Surgery leadership.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Chairman (or designee) and the NYP Queens Medical Staff Office.
  • Coordinate departmental activities to ensure smooth operations and quality patient care.
  • Support internal and external communications, scheduling, and documentation needs.
  • Contribute to a positive, professional environment that reflects our values and mission.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (strongly preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant administrative experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and discretion.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

$28.00-$37.00/Hourly
