Unit Assistant - Interventional Radiology - Full-Time - Days

Light up the room with your presence. Make the promise of Putting Patients First a reality at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.Provide compassionate patient focus and superior customer service -keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. Coordinate appointments and perform general clerical duties at the unit station to assure the timely, efficient and accurate flow of patient information. Welcome and direct visitors and hospital colleagues to appropriate areas. Page clinical staff and answer phones on your unit. Sign for important medical deliveries. Cultivate a courteous and respectful demeanor while multitasking between people and responsibilities.

This is a full time position working 9:00am - 5: 00pm day flex at our Morgan Stanley Childrens Hospital Location.

Preferred Criteria

• Interventional Radiology experience
• Physical ability to assist patients
  

Required Criteria

• Qualified candidates have at least one year of previous clerical experience and basic computer knowledge
• High School Diploma or GED
•  Data Entry proficiency assessment required- 4000 Keystrokes 90% Accuracy
