Social Worker- Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program 8am-6pm (4x's/wk) Columbia

Now, you have the opportunity to join us. Our Adult Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) provides services such as triage, screening, referral and crisis intervention to ensure the mental well-being.

As part of our growing behavioral heath care team, you will experience a place where your discipline is immensely respected. You’ll coordinate discharge planning and continuum of care for patients and families from across the world. You’ll lead clinical debriefing meetings and work with colleagues in need of support after dramatic or stressful events.  Here, you will experience all the reasons why you entered such a rewarding field.

This is a 4 x 10 hour shift position working 8am-6pm schedule.

Candidates with mental health and psych experience (3+) are strongly encouraged to apply.

Preferred Criteria

• Emergency Department experience

• Crisis related experience 

• Experience in a psychiatric setting

Required Criteria

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)

• New York State License as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)
