Radiology Manager (MRI) – Full-Time – Days – NYP/CNYPAI
In this crucial leadership role, you’ll guide a high-profile imaging team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional outpatient MRI services. At Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian Advanced Imaging (CNYPAI), we combine academic excellence with clinical innovation to elevate the patient experience.
This is a patient-facing leadership role—you’ll not only oversee daily operations and manage a dedicated team, but also work directly with patients to resolve concerns, ensure smooth patient flow, and uphold our commitment to compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of the MRI team, ensuring efficient and high-quality diagnostic services.
- Manage staff schedules, inventory, and workflow to support optimal patient care.
- Serve as a point of contact for patients, addressing concerns and enhancing their experience.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support research initiatives.
- Take on special projects as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
This opportunity will allow you to utilize your strong radiology experience and supervisory skills to coordinate care with a multi-disciplinary team and impact research in an Academic Medical Center.
Preferred Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university
Required Criteria
- Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Certification by one of the following:
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in appropriate modalities (e.g., X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, etc.)
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)
- American Registry of MRI Technologists (ARMRIT)
- Minimum four years of related clinical experience in radiology
- Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory capacity

Salary Range:
