Every day we are meeting the needs of patients with extraordinarily diverse problems, managing patients after liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants as well as general and vascular surgery patients with complex disease processes ranging from sepsis to acute respiratory distress syndrome.
Position responsibilities will include the full range of academic clinical care including vascular access placement, hemodynamic monitoring, drug infusion titration, non-invasive ultrasound, ventilator management, renal replacement therapy, nutritional support, infectious disease control, medical ethics, and medical education.
We currently have positions available as we build a 24/7 PA team in our busy adult Surgical ICU. The schedule requires three 12.5 hour shifts per week including nights, weekends and holiday coverage. This role also provides potential opportunities for cross-training in our other specialty ICUs.
Preferred Criteria:
Successful completion a PA Critical Care Residency Training Program or have at least one year of critical care experience along with current NYS licensure.
Required Criteria:
Bachelors or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies
Current NYS licensure

Salary Range:
