At NewYork-Presbyterian, our Physical Therapists use advanced technology and evidence-based techniques to restore and maximize patient mobility and function. We provide one-on-one therapies tailored to meet individual needs in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Our outpatient rehabilitation facilities feature state-of-the-art equipment, including specialized balance and vestibular systems, Bioness L-300 Go, and advanced strength and conditioning tools. Our experienced team helps patients achieve their full potential—and now you can become one of the people who Make It Possible.

Join our interdisciplinary team and provide high-quality outpatient vestibular rehabilitation to patients with conditions such as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), vestibular neuritis, post-concussion syndrome, and other balance disorders. You will also treat patients with neurological diagnoses including stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and adult cerebral palsy, as well as select orthopedic and post-surgical cases.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, with intermittent weekend and holiday coverage.

Preferred Criteria

  • Experience in vestibular rehabilitation, including assessment and treatment of dizziness and balance disorders.

  • Completion of APTA co-sponsored competency-based course series in Vestibular Rehabilitation.

  • Experience treating neurological conditions in adult and/or geriatric populations.

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.

  • APTA Neurological Clinical Specialist certification.

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.

  • Demonstrates competency in clinical skills consistent with the level of education, training, and experience. 

  • New York State Physical Therapy license.

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
