We offer one-on-one therapies tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient. Our facilities feature state-of-the-art exercise equipment, private and open treatment spaces, and up-to-date technologies, including the Bioness L-300 Go and Lite-Gait. Join our interdisciplinary team and deliver high-quality outpatient rehabilitation to our patients. Help us build on our reputation as New York’s #1 hospital. This is a rotating position, starting in the outpatient department, where clients are treated for orthopedic, geriatric, and neurological conditions. Experience with the amputee population and/or a therapist with Schroth certification is preferred.

This is a full-time position, working Tuesday to Saturday with 3 evenings per week. The hours are between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, and 11 am - 7 pm, including intermittent holiday coverage. The position begins in the outpatient area with possible future rotations into other areas.

Preferred Criteria

• Experience with treating a variety of Orthopedic and Geriatric conditions.
• Experience with amputee population and prosthetic gait training.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. 
• Advanced credentialing such as Orthopedic Clinical Specialist /Certified Orthopedic Musculoskeletal Therapist / Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist/ Schroth certified therapist

Required Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Demonstrates competency in clinical skills consistent with the level of education, training, and experience. 
• New York State Physical Therapy license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
