Patient Accounts Manager
The essential job duties for this role encompass a wide range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. The position involves managing supervisors and assigned work teams, providing work direction based on weekly priorities, and promoting, adopting, and adhering to the Stratified Processing Environment (SPE) process. A key responsibility includes monitoring all Inpatient and Outpatient account receivables, ensuring compliance with third-party billing regulations, and interfacing with third-party agencies to verify the effectiveness and accuracy of claim submission and processing. With input and approval from the Director, the role also involves implementing new processes and procedures, reviewing denials for proper corrective measures, and creating and maintaining daily, weekly, monthly, or on-demand reports, along with required statistics and records for the department. This position duties also requires holding weekly unit meetings, meeting regularly with assigned supervisors, and utilizing the Epic system as a management tool. 
Preferred Criteria:
  • Bachelor's Degree
Required Criteria:
  • Three to five years experience in Patient Financial Services including two years supervisory experience
  • Excellent analytical skills, verbal and writing skills and demonstrated aptitude for problem solving
  • Knowledge of Siemens Eagle and EPIC.
  • Proficient in use of PC tools (Excel, Word)

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Salary Range:

$95,000-$144,000/Annual
