Part time Venipuncture Technician - 8:30am to 5pm - Adult Infusion Center - Columbia University Irving Medical Center
Committed to care, our Phlebotomy Technicians can enter a room and bring comfort, calm and compassion to our patients. Join our team in a fast-paced outpatient unit drawing blood for laboratory tests as requested by physicians in accordance with established procedures.
This is a part time position and hours are from 8:30am to 5pm, occasional weekends. This position is located New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
Preferred Criteria
- At least 1 year of experience
- Phlebotomy Certification from National Phlebotomy Association
Key Criteria
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of principles of infection control and normal anatomy
- Customer service skills
