Optometrist - Eye Clinic – Columbia  - ACN - Pediatrics Experience and Low Vision Screening preferred

This role will provide high quality comprehensive eye care services to patients at one of New York’s best hospitals. Our optometrists work collaboratively with resident, fellow, and attending ophthalmologists to facilitate medical, surgical, and subspecialty eye care for patients with ocular disease. This position can also participate in multi-disciplinary projects on patient care and quality improvements when requested in collaboration with the Ambulatory Care Network (ACN) Chief Medical Director, Medical Director in Eye Residency Director, and Practice Administrator.  Together, we improve the health of patients and their families, making our communities – and the world – stronger.

Required Criteria

  • Doctor of Optometry with 1-3 years of experience (at least 6 months-1 year experience, if recommended from SUNY School of Optometry)
  • Licensed Optometrist by the NYS Department of Education
  • Basic Life Support Certification
