Nuclear Cardiology Technologist - Full Time - Swing

Join the close-knit Nuclear Cardiology team at NewYork-Presbyterian.  Here you will work with dynamic colleagues and a diverse patient population covering Nuclear Cardiology. Be immersed in a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic care while assisting with the evaluation of a wide range of medical conditions related to heart disease. As a Nuclear Cardiology Technologist, we’ll depend on you to handle, prepare, administer and dispose of sensitive radiopharmaceuticals in connection with Cardiac PYP, MUGA Scans, and SPECT Myocardial Scans. You’ll perform quality control and follow aseptic technique standards to ensure patient and colleague safety. You’ll obtain and distribute medical records as needed, while collaborating with leading radiology physicians to provide integrated and expert evaluation of each patient.

This is a day shift position working Monday through Friday 12:00pm - 8:00pm. Location is our Columbia campus is Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights.

Preferred Criteria

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board CT NMTCB (CT)

  • Prior experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist 

  • IV insertion/Isotope injection

Required Criteria

  • New York State Nuclear Medicine License from the Department of Health

  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) 

  • Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology Program or A.S. or B.S. Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:

$51.38-$61.35/Hourly
