Combining the academic distinction of ColumbiaDoctors and clinical resources of NewYork-Presbyterian, Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian Advanced Imaging (CNYPAI) was created to expand outpatient services in Radiology and imaging using MRI and PET CT. Utilizing cutting-edge technology with some of the world’s most respected experts in the field, CNYPAI’s mission is to diagnose and treat a range of diseases and conditions that may otherwise go unnoticed, as well as to further transform research efforts to improve health in individuals and populations, while holding the highest of standards for the patient experience.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead CT Technologist to join our NYP/Columbia campus imaging team. In this role, you will assign work, oversees technologists work and patient work flow, and makes schedule adjustments when needed to ensure adequate coverage of CT areas. Assists in expediting patient flow while maintaining image quality. Acts as the point of contact and resource for various internal staff, and for both patients and their families. Works with various imaging modalities, including PET/CT, Cardiac PET/CT.
This is a non-supervisory position with some leadership responsibilities. You will play a critical role in maintaining our premier level of quality, in support of a world-class clinical team. Shifts Available:
8am-4pm Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays as needed
Required Criteria
New York State Radiologic Technologist License from Department of Health
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) / Computed Tomography Certifications
New York State license to inject contrast
Highschool Diploma
Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Computer Tomography
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred Criteria
Previous experience in research
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(MR) Maintains continuing education credits per American Registry of Radiologic Technologists requirements

Salary Range:
