Laboratory Coordinator - Lab Support Services - Full Time - Nights
Be an intergral part of our Laboratory Support Services center at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. As a Laboratory Coordinator you will have the ability to supervise a team of 70 Venipuncture and EKG/Phlebotomy Technicians, while also providing top notch customer service. You will interact with patients, physicians, and nurses across both pediatric and adult patient sites. Your flexibility will allow assisting the Supervisor with scheduling, statistics/data, and QA tasks while serving as coverage during Supervisor's absence.
This position is Monday - Friday from 12:00am - 8:00am, including alternate weekends and rotating holidays. Location is our Columbia campus in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights.
Preferred Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
Required Criteria
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of customer-oriented experience with at least one year of supervisory experience
- Strong communication and computer skills

Salary Range:
