Registered Dietitian (RD) / Clinical Nutritionist - Part Time - Columbia - In-Patient Units

The best in the field, talented Registered Dietitians at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center use medical nutrition therapy to work with a diverse patient population, and contribute substantially to the study of nutrition and its relationship to various diseases.  In addition to developing nutrition treatment plans that ensure optimal care in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements, you will have the opportunity to educate dietetic interns and staff, helping to develop future clinicians.  Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high. 

This is a part time, day shift position.

Preferred Criteria

  • At least 1 year of acute care experience

Required Criteria

  • Minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college/university or foreign equivalent
  • Completion of an ACEND accredited/approved Supervised Practice Program in Dietetics
  • Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) within 6 months
  • Certification by the State of New York as a Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist NYS certification within 12 months
  • Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and ability to make fast and accurate assessment of patients
