Under the direction of the Transplant Service Line and clinical direction of the Transplant Program Medical & Surgical Directors, the Chief Transplant Coordinator is responsible for the clinical staff, including day-to-day supervision, recruitment, education and evaluation. Develops policies, procedures and clinical protocols, and works with the physicians in reviewing and revising care protocols to facilitate optimal care. Responsible for implementation of initiatives set forth by the management of Transplant Services.
Required Criteria:
Bachelor’s degree, 10 years’ experience as a Transplant Coordinator in a solid Organ Transplant program, Organ Procurement Organization or Dialysis Center may be considered in substitution for Bachelor’s
Licensure/Certifications Current NYS RN Licensure
CCTC – Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator by the American Board for Transplant Certificates or CCTN Certified Clinical Transplant Nurse by the American Board for Transplant Certificates

Salary Range:
