Certified MRI Technologist - Outpatient Imaging – Part-Time | Saturdays
Location: 710 W 168th Street, New York, NY 10032
Union Role: Requires registration with the 1199 Job Security Fund.

As an MRI Technologist, you will perform a variety of MR examinations using state-of-the-art GE imaging equipment in a collaborative, high-quality outpatient environment. Your expertise will directly support accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and innovative research, while helping patients receive the answers and care they need.

This is an excellent opportunity for an MRI Technologist seeking an outpatient setting, a union position, and a part-time schedule while working with leading technology and respected experts in the field.
Schedule:
- Part-Time, 18.75 Hours/Week
- Every Saturday required
- Flexible hours Monday-Friday based on department needs

Preferred Criteria
One year experience in Diagnostic Imaging
Previous relevant experience in MRI
Prior experience with GE equipment
Required Criteria
High School Diploma or GED
Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
New York State Radiology license in Radiography and maintain current New York State registration in Radiography
Must possess New York State certification for intravascular contrast media injection or obtain such certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer
Must possess current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration in Radiography (R)
Must possess current ARRT certification and registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), or, if not currently held, must satisfy ARRT eligibility requirements and obtain ARRT certification and registration in MRI within six (6) months of hire or transfer.
Must maintain all required continuing education and renewal requirements for New York State and ARRT credentials
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Proficient in EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, Modality specific software
