Supervisor – OR Supply Chain – Lower Manhattan

Drive operational excellence by utilizing your warehouse, logistics and inventory expertise on this team. Supervise routine activities of the Supply Chain staff at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell to ensure alignment of supply chain operations with the entire organization. In this career-making opportunity, you’ll supervise a team of professionals responsible for Supply Chain logistics at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan. You’ll ensure that all production requirements are met, while finding innovative ways to enhance handling, storage and inventory. Be the front line of regulatory compliance. Monitor daily operations status, and communicate changes to department leaders. Evaluate employees, promote safety, and deliver leadership that inspires performance on the highest level.

This position will be Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm with no weekends or holidays.

Preferred Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree

• Knowledge of a similar inventory control system

• Knowledge of OR Supplies and Workflow

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED

• Three to five years of previous work related experience 

• Knowledge of medical/surgical supplies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
