Supervisor – Supply Chain – Days – Operating Rooms and Procedural Areas - Cornell Campus

Drive operational excellence by utilizing your warehouse, logistics, and inventory expertise on this team.

This leader will supervise daily activities of the Supply Chain staff who manage supply operations for the operating rooms and procedural areas at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell ensuring a customer centric alignment of supply chain operations within the entire organization. 

In this career-making opportunity, you’ll supervise a team of professionals responsible for Supply Chain management at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell. You’ll ensure that all production requirements are met, while finding innovative ways to enhance handling, storage, and inventory. Additionally, your team serves as the customer service face of supply chain and this leadership role allows for direct interaction and visibility with clinical staff in several OR/procedural areas. Relatedly, you will work with your team to ensure regulatory compliance, monitor daily operations status for scheduled/emergency cases, communicate changes to department leaders, evaluate employees, promote safety, and deliver leadership that inspires performance on the highest level.

This position will work Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm flex. 

Preferred Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Supply Chain technology literacy

  • Labor relations experience

Required Criteria:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Three to five years of previous work related experience

  • Windows based computer literacy

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Salary Range:

$72,000-$96,500/Annual
