Social Work Supervisor – LMH – Inpatient Units – Days

Lead a team of Social Workers that provide clinical social work interventions to individuals, families and groups, including psychosocial and (if applicable) psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and psychotherapy in addition to discharge planning and other social work services. You will provide psychosocial assessment, supportive therapy, psycho-education, patient advocacy, and discharge planning according to the needs of the specific client population.
Maintains pertinent and timely medical record documentation, statistics and reports. Oversees and coordinates all family interventions and aftercare planning. Work collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care and interprets psychosocial findings to members of other disciplines.
This is a Monday-Friday 9am-5pm work hours. Requires Manager On-Call Weekend Coverage and Holidays.
Preferred Criteria
Prior supervisory experience
Required Criteria
At least 3 years of experience
Masters degree in Social Work
New York State License as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Advanced capacity to conduct and supervise psychosocial evaluations and family interventions
Advanced competency in individual, family and group treatment modalities and techniques
Administrative and organizational skill and ability to effectively participate in the administration and ongoing operation of the unit or program

Salary Range:
