Specialist Billing Revenue -Pharmacy Department
In this role you will be responsible for charges, revenue, and compliance related to Pharmacy billing. Ensures communication on these issues between the Department of Pharmacy, Information Services, Accounts Receivable.
- Works with pharmacy, procedure, and ambulatory areas to understand reimbursement for medications used in these areas and promote decisions and systems that comply with regulatory requirements.
- Audits billing to ensure charges are accurate, timely, and compliant.
- Tracks and trends billing problems and works with others to identify and correct root causes of errors.
- Works with pharmacy staff, IT, and finance to develop processes and systems that will maximize accurate and compliant charges
This position will be day flex.
Preferred Criteria:
- Minimum of ten years of experience in billing/revenue, hospital operations, and/or financial management
- Knowledge of hospital-based medication billing/revenue
- Experience with pharmacy billing
Required Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of Management and financial skills, understanding healthcare administration and quality improvement processes, experience with manipulating large data bases, ability to analyze data and prepare reports that convey key messages, and ability to navigate pharmac y information systems and medication administration records.

Salary Range:
