Position Summary

The IT & Corporate Services Sourcing Lead will focus on projects to improve financial and operating efficiency. The role will continue to address sourcing efforts related to these areas, which represent more than $500M in non-labor expense, but will also help align Enterprise policies, procedures, and practices in these areas that intersect with our sourcing, supply chain and procure-to-pay operations.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

  • Manage the IT & Corporate Service categories, including overseeing day-to-day activities of analysts, spearheading standardizations and development of Enterprise standards, and prioritizing projects
  • Manage the relationship with our distributors (i.e., Derive, EPlus, etc.) with a focus on improving joint processes around non-clinical supply distribution
  • Develop a strategy to proactively address changes to key contracts, including multi-year RFP cycle planning
  • Foster an ongoing working relationship with IT Finance to help manage costs through contract lifecycle management
  • Serve as the PSS Liaison to IT PMO through joint planning and workflow optimization efforts
  • Play lead role in departmental VBM initiatives
  • Support cross-departmental efficiency initiatives through top-down analysis of contracts and reports
  • Create and manage a knowledge database, tools, and reports for the sourcing teams (e.g., onboarding / training materials, playbooks, standards lists).
  • Expand relationships with corporate and local leaders in covered categories
  • Manage the following categories: IT, Finance, HR, Marketing, PX, Legal, Audit/Compliance
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of analysts, spearhead standardizations and development of Enterprise standards, and prioritize projects

Preferred Criteria

  • Master’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years’ healthcare experience, preferably with in a role requiring financial analysis
  • Knowledge of the Lawson system and hospital operations
  • Outstanding collaborative leadership and group management skills
  • Strong understanding of the existing supply chain for assigned categories and an awareness of emerging potential suppliers and technologies

Required Criteria

  • Bachelors’ degree
  • 7 or more years of finance, strategy, sourcing or related experience

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Salary Range:

$132,500-$140,000/Annual
