Tuesday - Saturday 9AM-5PM

Experience a place where your discipline is an important contributor to patient experience. In this role, you will provide social work services to the various Pediatric service lines. You will conduct psycho social assessments, interventions and discharge planning for patients from across the world. You will also serve as a valuable resource as you communicate with patients, their families and the highly skilled interdisciplinary team in order to assure excellent outcomes and an outstanding patient experience. This is a Tuesday -Saturday 9AM-5PM position.

This position will have some holiday rotation.

Preferred Criteria

• At least one year of inpatient pediatric experience.

Required Criteria

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)

• New York State License as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
