Social Worker - Ambulatory Care Network - Pediatrics - Weill Cornell
We are seeking a Social Worker for our Outpatient Pediatric clinicwhich includes bothmedicallyand socially complex cases. The PediatricSocial Worker will utilize clinical skills to forge meaningful relationships with patients and their families.Position involves a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to biopsychosocial assessments, short-term counseling, risk assessment and treatment planning, crisis interventions, outreach/referrals to community providers, and other case management services.This role must work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team.Position may involve work across the entire Pediatric/Adolescent and Women’s Health Practice depending on need.
Socialworkerwill beresponsible forin-person and telehealth visits.
This is a day shift(9:00 AM -5:00 PM), Monday to Friday positionwith 1 to 3 days per week of delayed schedule (11:00 AM -7:00 PM).
Preferred Criteria
- Experience working with Pediatric clients
- Experience in a busy outpatient setting
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams
- Bi-lingual Spanish
Required Criteria
Master’s degree in social work (MSW)
Licensure required as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) by the State of New York.
