Senior Transplant Coordinator - Heart - Days

NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center seeks to provide high quality, advanced heart failure care across the New York metropolitan region and expand access to our renowned transplant program. Join our team as we launch our new heart transplant program at our Weill Cornell campus and help us extend world class care to patients in their local communities.

Our Senior Transplant Coordinators work directly with patients in ensuring lifesaving procedures are successful. In this role, you will coordinate all aspects of the program for selected candidates. Take this opportunity to serve as the medical liaison with various departments, while ensuring adherence to protocols, certification requirements, data collection and reporting. This is a full time, day shift position plus on-call responsibilities working with our heart transplantation team at our Weill Cornell campus located on Manhattan's Upper East Side.

Preferred Criteria

  • Previous Transplant Experience
  • Five years experience as a RN in medical/surgical nursing with an ICU background
  • Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) certification
  • Masters Degree

Required Criteria

  • NYS RN License
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Three or more years of experience in management or administration
  • Knowledge of organ procurement
  • Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office and other applications

$128,500-$162,000/Annual
