Senior Occupational Therapy Specialist – Acute Care - Days

Evaluate, plan and provide occupational therapy treatment programs for patients whose injury, disease, or loss of body part interferes with daily functioning. Provide highly skilled intervention using a variety of techniques that are appropriate to achieve identified goals. Functions include clinical competency, program development, and providing direction for workflow.
The hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm with occasional weekendand holidaycoverage.
Preferred Criteria
- Doctorate or Masters' degree in Occupational Therapy
- A minimum of 3 years of experience within acute care, including ICU(medical, cardiac and surgical)and early mobilization
- Proficient splinter
- Experienceas a fieldwork educator
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Required Criteria
- 3 years’ experience as a practicing Occupational Therapist
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- New York State Occupational Therapist License
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

Salary Range:
