Senior Marketing Manager - Strategic Initiatives

The Senior Marketing Manager will lead strategic initiatives and high-impact projects that enhance visibility, engagement, and operational effectiveness across the organization. This role blends strategy development, project leadership, and strategically leveraging content in digital channels, with opportunities to shape how we communicate and connect with key audiences. You will work closely with the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer and the full Marketing and Communications Management Team to fuel the organization’s 3–5 year strategic vision with a focus on improving operational efficiency, elevating cross-functional collaboration, and supporting organization transformation. You'll help to navigate ambiguity, translate complex briefs into actionable plans with clear recommendations on format, channel, and messaging.Additionally, drive forward a deeper understanding of AI, automation, identifying trends in content, improving discoverability and engagement through SEO, personalization, and emerging technologies.Familiarity with content project management, analytics platforms and digital marketing tools is critical to this role.

This is a full time day shift position working 4 days at our Corporate Office in mid-town Manhattan, and the ability for 1 day remote.

Preferred Criteria

  • Familiarity with content development operations in digital channels, analytics platforms, and digital marketing tools

  • Understanding of AI, automation, and emerging trends in content and technology

  • Experience in healthcare, academic, or mission-driven organizations

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 8 years of experience in management consulting or strategic planning, with a strong foundation in operational execution and digital marketing

  • Proven track record in project management, content program oversight, and cross-functional leadership, with a strong understanding of content channels, workflow coordination, and performance measurement

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into strategic decisions

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

  • Strong deck writing skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling presentations for executive audiences

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:

$145,000-$186,500/Annual
