Senior Director - Quality & Patient Safety
The Senior Director plans, coordinates, and oversees enterprise-wide activities related to the quality and safety improvement program, as well as serves as a liaison between campus leaders and QPS leadership. In conjunction with VP for Quality and Patient Safety, they will set enterprise-wide strategies to improve health care delivery processes, regulatory activities, and other quality and patient safety initiatives. Responsible for process improvement strategies, training, and capacity building across the organization. Works with QPS Directors and team members to ensure strategies are successfully executed across all sites. In addition, the Senior Director will have supervisory responsibilities, advising and guiding the work of campus teams, identifying and coordinating strategies across the organization, and providing overall management of staff.
This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday based out of our corporate office in Midtown Manhattan. Travel will be required to any of the locations within our enterprise.
Preferred Criteria:
- Master’s Degree in healthcare related field
Required Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Clinical Licensure (RN, PA, NP, MD, Nurse Midwife, RD, PT/OT, or PharmD)
- 10+ years of work-related experience with five years supervisory experience
- Ability to develop project plans and objectives; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience leading quality improvement and process improvement work in hospital/healthcare settings
- Knowledge of quality and patient safety, infection prevention and control, regulatory requirements, and statistical and research methods

Salary Range:
