Senior Business Intelligence Developer – Transplantation

The Senior Business Intelligence Developer will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and deployment of clinical analytics and Business Intelligence applications. As a key member of the Analytics and Insights Project Team, this position will act as a bridge between application teams and clinical departments.

Utilizing both clinical and operational expertise along with a strong foundation in information systems, the Senior Developer will identify innovative ways to harness data analytics to enhance quality and drive efficiency. This role will involve close collaboration with clinical teams to define, develop, and analyze key performance metrics.

In addition, the Senior Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Business Intelligence applications, including operational reports, dashboards, scorecards, and ad hoc reporting requests. The position also provides support and mentorship to other Business Intelligence Developers and ensures the creation of clear, comprehensive technical documentation.

This position is based out of our corporate office in Midtown Manhattan with possible travel to any of our NYP sites and will be full-time Monday to Friday. Hybrid Schedule includes 4 days in office and 1 day remote.

Preferred Criteria

  • 7+ years of experience in developing business intelligence applications
  • Proficient in SQL and other database technologies
  • Extensive knowledge of data visualization techniques and dashboard design (e.g., Tableau)
  • Strong experience with ETL processes and data warehousing principles
  • Expertise in building predictive models using R and SAS

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7 years of relevant professional experience

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:

$131,500-$163,000/Annual
