Channel your innovative problem solving, relationship building and data analysis skills at one of the nation’s largest private not-for-profit medical center, New York-Presbyterian Hospital. In this role, you will help manage professional contracts with insurance companies, ensure compliance, and act as a liaison for the physician groups. Build and maintain the relationships with contracted insurance plans, organize contract implementation and operations and oversee the enrollment process. Identify and resolve contract compliance issues, and ultimately safeguard the future patient-focused research and care. Play a key role in reaching the hospital's financial and patient satisfaction goals.
Preferred Criteria:
Masters Degree in Business, Health or Public Administration or Nursing
Key knowledge in areas of managed care, reimbursement methodologies, budgeting or cost accounting
Required Criteria:
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of three years’ experience in Healthcare, Managed Care Insurance and Managed Care Contract Terms, and Contract Modeling for professional agreements
Knowledge of the broad insurance market, federal and regional government reimbursement methodologies, billing practices, data collection and maintenance.
Knowledgeable of value-based contracts arrangements, including Shared Savings and Pay-for-Performance
Advanced reporting and basic project management skills
