As a Rehabilitation Aide, take part in the continuum of care in all of our various settings from ICU, acute care, inpatientrehabilitationand outpatientrehabilitation. This position will be primarily working in our outpatient department and inpatientrehabilitationunits. Assisting in our chaperone program for pelvic health, maintaining therapy areas by
obtainingrehabilitationequipment, linen inventory and restocking linen and medical supplies. Transport and transfer patients, maintaining equipment and supplies as required on therehabunit. Assisting with direct patient care under the supervision of Physical and Occupational Therapists as you assist with the mobility of patients of all ages and diagnoses.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm; flexibility needed to cover occasional late hours from 10:30-6:30 as determined by management based on operational needs and staffing.
Preferred Criteria
Acute care experience
Six months hospital experience
Required Criteria
High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge of policies and procedures ofRehabilitationMedicine
